MoneyMove is a free multiplayer board game for your browser and your phone. Roll, move, buy the streets you land on, put houses and hotels on the sets you complete, and charge everybody else rent until there is one player left with money. Two to eight people, no download, no sign-up to play.
Play now puts you at a table with whoever else is looking for a game — it takes about fifteen seconds to find people, and fills the last seats so nobody waits forever. Create a game gives you a private room and a link; anyone you send it to is at your table in one tap, in a browser, with nothing to install. Swap friend codes and you can drop into each other's games and message between them.
The Classic board is the one everybody knows. Worldwide travels the planet, Death Valley is a brutal short game, and there is a board for every inhabited continent — Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America and Oceania, eight real countries on each. Then the single-nation boards for India, Brazil, Germany, Japan and eight more — each with its own streets, prices and sets. Shuffle picks a different one every game. See all twenty-five boards.
Auctions when somebody passes on a property, mortgages when they run short, even-build on houses, double rent on a completed set, and a proper debt system where money moves to the player who is owed it rather than vanishing. Trades are free-form: streets, cash and jail cards in any combination, with a counter-offer if the first one is cheeky. Read how to play.
When a cup is running you can enter it from the Social tab. Everyone who joins is paired off, winners go through, losers are out, and the last three standing take the prizes. Rounds run at set times over a few evenings, so you turn up, play your match and get on with your night.
The game is free and always playable without spending anything. Coins buy pieces and avatars — a top hat, a rickshaw, a dragon — and change nothing about how the game plays. You earn them by winning and by turning up daily. There is no pay-to-win here and there is not going to be.
